Social Media Coordinator (Volunteer)

Adam Helpt is an organisation located in Amsterdam dedicated to facilitate volunteering activities for companies. Through the corporate social responsibility policies or the company’s values, we create projects that make an impact in our community. Corporate volunteering activities empower companies to become social engaged, but they also help your employees develop new skills and build more collaborative teams.

Adam Helpt mail goal is to, together with corporates, expand the positive impact and spread our support within different underprivileged target groups.

Job description:

We are currently seeking a volunteer Social media coordinator to join us. You will coordinate our communications and social media at Adam Helpt. You will be responsible for managing our social media channels, creating online digital marketing and developing a digital identity for Adam Helpt to empower us telling our story of how we are making an impact in Amsterdam citizens’ lives. The tasks and responsibilities are:
  • You will be responsible for creating content for our social media channels, namely Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram.
  • You will also have the opportunity to strategies and ideate the overall direction of our social media.
  • Carry out research to obtain quality content and sharing relevant information within these platforms
  • Actively engaging with people who follow the platforms

What we ask from you:

  • Has an affinity with communication, both in text-writing and visual design
  • Analyses the online activities and adapts our strategy and planning accordingly
  • Is a self-starter who can volunteer with minimal supervision and an enthusiastic attitude
  • Can stimulate conversation on platforms and lead them in a positive way
  • Has good proficiency in English, and Dutch is a plus!
